Mary Ametani
WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

Hi! My name is Mary Ametani. I am a Wisconsin Registered and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. I have been practicing massage therapy since 1998 and I am a professional member of the International Massage Association. I have over 650 hours of training, including the following modalities: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Therapy, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular therapy, Reflexology, Lymphatic Massage, Sinus Massage, Aromatherapy, and Body Mobilization. I have also completed continuing education in Muscle Release Techniques for the treatment of chronic pain and repetitive use injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Most recently, I have completed continuing education in LaStone Therapy.

I incorporate into each massage part of all these modalities, tailoring each massage to suit the individual needs of the client. I listen to what each client is telling me about his or her own physical symptoms and apply this to how I will effectively treat each person. Whether their needs are relaxation for stress relief or treatment of acute or chronic pain, educating clients on the benefits of plenty of water and teaching the importance of stretching are all keys to helping each client achieve their desired result. Take advantage of a massage therapist who will give you her undivided attention. You’ll be glad you did!

“Mary is FANTASTIC! Always love my massages!”

Morgan Clucas
WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

Hello and Welcome to Kneaded Relief!

I am a 2011 graduate of Fox Valley School of Massage in Menasha WI, trained in Swedish relaxation massage techniques with additional instruction in Lymphatic drainage, Hydrotherapy, Pregnancy, and light energy work.

My introduction to massage therapy came through my involvement in athletics while growing up in Stevens Point, WI. I was active in soccer and basketball and massage offered my rest, recovery, and increased awareness of both my physical and mental bodies. Following High School graduation, I attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with intentions of pursuing a career in the health care field. Ultimately, I realized that my values and beliefs were more aligned with practices aimed at prevention rather than relying on pharmaceuticals, surgery, etc. to treat pathologies. These experiences contributed greatly to my interest in and exploration of holistic, alternative and complimentary health practices.

Being a Massage Therapist is challenging but also extremely rewarding. I am so grateful to be a part of such a passionate, knowledgeable, and supportive team here at Kneaded Relief. My goal is to support each guest on their unique path to achieving and maintaining balance of body, mind, and spirit. Thank you for taking time to learn more about my massage journey. Peace and joy to you always.

Breathe in love, breathe out gratitude

“Morgan was very good. Listened to what I needed work on and was very professional.”

Janie Lee (Out on leave due to an injury)
WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

Hello everyone, my name is Janie Lee and I am a massage therapist at Kneaded Relief.  My path to massage therapy began when I was a child, growing up learning the human body and healing work through my parents.  I have a wonderful generational line of my healers in my family through my father’s side.  I felt it was a calling for me to follow in that path of healing myself.

In 2006, I graduated from PHD Academy in Eau Claire, WI with a degree in Massage Therapy.  After graduation, I began performing massage therapy in my hometown.  Eventually it led to starting my own business in Eau Claire until I moved to Madison area and began working at Kneaded Relief.

I am thankful that I have taken this path, for it has brought me many wonderful people in my life.  Knowledge and passion are still the KEY assets to me in massage therapy.  I feel continuing education enhances and customizes my treatments towards my clients needs.  I look forward to working with all of you in hopes of making a change and difference in your life!

“Massage by Janie was exceptional. Not only is Janie a gifted massage therapist, she offers solid feedback on what she finds during massage as well as exercises and other things that she does that she knows can help me heal.”

Angela Lent
WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

Hello! My name is Angie, and I’m so grateful to be part of the wellness team here at Kneaded Relief! My passion for massage began with a love for activity. In my household, we’re silent sports enthusiasts (cycling, paddling, x-country skiing, etc.). I’ve learned that performance is based on three things: training, fuel and recovery. Regular massage helps the body heal itself more efficiently by helping to maintain balance.

I graduated from Blue Sky School of Therapeutic Massage and Body work with an emphasis in medical/therapeutic work. I’m currently working towards certification in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy as well as Craniosacral Therapy. However, more than any one modality, what I am most passionate about is helping my clients feel better. No two massages are the same, and I work to tailor my treatment plan to each client’s needs.

I love giving massage as much as receiving it. Whether the goal is stress relief, therapeutic or general relaxation, I am going to do my best to help you feel better.

“Excellent massage from Angie, as always! She is thorough, perceptive, and professional. I always look forward to coming in to Kneaded Relief, and specifically, having a massage from Angie.”

Andrew Nepstad
WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

Hi! My name is Andy and I am a licensed massage therapist who graduated from Madison College. For a while I was really struggling trying to find a career that suited my interests and fulfilled a desire to help people. I had a long path back to my education, along the way I quit drinking and smoking and started becoming very mindful of health and quality of life.

I believe my interest in wellness and the body developed within my study of traditional Chinese Kung Fu. Through my studies I have developed a strong focus and discipline that I have applied to various facts of my life. There are many elements of my training that can be used in massage therapy such as proper body mechanics, controlled breathing and learning to listen by feeling.

I am a certified instructor in Bei Shaolin Quan and have taught numerous different classes including strength and conditioning and full contact fighting (Lei tai). In 2010, I flew to Sao Paulo Brazil to compete in a tournament. Experiencing their culture and welcoming nature was an eye opening experience for me. I believe being a massage therapist similarly teaches you to be open and accepting of any individual that walks through your door.

During my time as a massage therapist I have found great reward in helping people even if it is as little as feeling more relaxed after a session. Being employed at Kneaded Relief has been very educational and fun at the same time. Everyone is very supportive of one another and it’s a great work environment. I’m passionate to keep learning new ways to better help my clients and have a good time doing it.

I’m a very easy going light hearted guy and my primary concern will always be a person’s well being. I will work hard to earn my clients trust because that is the most important thing that a therapist can receive in this profession.

“I had a massage with Andrew – it was amazing! He did a terrific job of explaining what was going to happen, asked what I was hoping to get out of our session together, and then did a wonderful job explaining what he “discovered” while giving me a massage, and how I could remedy my areas of concern. I would highly recommend him!”

Christine Otth
WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

Hello and Welcome! I am a licensed massage therapist and I am very excited to be a part of the Kneaded Relief wellness team.

I graduated in 2009 from the East West Healing Arts Institute here in Madison.

My work routinely includes a combination of TuiNa (chinese medical massage), Acupressure and Swedish Massage and I may incorporate Deep Tissue massage and Myofascial Release technique.

I enjoy working intuitively and choose the technique that serves best your needs.

In January 2014 I was fortunate to spend 4 weeks in Switzerland, where I was taught a Deep Lymphatic Massage. Since then I am passionate about the Lymphatic System!

I grew up in a Ski Resort in the Swiss Alps and moved to Madison in 1997. Before I became a MT I was a Medical Technologist and used to work at the University Hospital in Switzerland and here in Madison.

As an enthusiastic skier and rock climber my sore muscles experienced the benefits of therapeutic massage pretty early in life… by now I know, that massage does not just treat your body it also relaxes and refreshes your mind and spirit.

I am looking forward to working with you!

“I came to Kneaded Relief for pain relief of my hip and Christine was so sweet and understanding of my issue. She was able to work out the issue and I am feeling better and am so much happier.”

Erica Jean Pooch
WI Licensed Massage Therapist

Hello there! I hope I get the opportunity to work with you.

I have been practicing massage since 2011. I began my college path with Graphic Design and realized that it wasn’t what I wanted to do in life. A friend suggested I go for Massage Therapy, but this career path had never even crossed my mind before. So I looked into the program liked what I saw, and enrolled at Globe University in La Crosse WI. After starting classes, I really enjoyed doing massage and I knew I had made an excellent choice.

Since graduating massage school I decided to keep going to college. I have always had a strong passion for art and after hearing about the amazing Art Therapy Program at Edgewood College, I packed my things and moved to Madison. I’m currently working towards my Masters in Art Therapy and minoring in Psychology and Studio Art. After completing my degree, I plan to work with Military men and women coming back from overseas who suffer from psychological disorders from combat exposure. I will be able to help them with the use of art, to help them express themselves through art rather than verbally expressing their experiences. I also plan to keep doing massage and bettering my skills.

In addition to everything I do, what brings me great joy is painting and drawing. In my spare time I do a lot of my own personal art work. I also like to go biking, hiking, shoot archery, snow shoe and read.

“Tremendous prenatal massage and spa experience. Erica Jean is very skilled and I would highly recommend!”

Pam Rosecky
WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB), Massage Department Manager

Hi! My name is Pam Rosecky and I am a Massage Therapist here at Kneaded Relief. I graduated from Spirit Touch Ins. in 1998 and specialize in relaxation massage and chair massage (I’ve done 5,088 chair massages). Besides my specialties in massage, I also perform Energy Work. Energy Work is really my passion. Everything and everybody is energy. I love to open doors for clients to relax. Clients heal themselves when they can melt and go to the place within themselves that is peaceful and sweet. A big piece of advice I would give to my clients is that your body talks to you all the time, listen to it and become balanced and harmonized.

Before I became a MT I owned my own daycare for 11 years. I also was a Surgical Technician specializing in ear, nose & throat. At that time in my life I realized that I felt old, tired and unhappy and that I was in need to find my personal way. Massage School provided me with the personal growth that I was searching for. I am now much happier, healthier, positive and younger.

In my spare time, what brings me joy is playing in the dirt (gardening), reading, making jewelry, and traveling. I have been to Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia to visit relatives and foreign exchange students. I also traveled to Guam to see my first grandson.

One of my great experiences in life was in 2002 when I was part of the Massage Team for the Winter Olympics-Paralympics in Salt Lake City. The first athlete wheeled his chair into the massage room; he had no legs from the thighs down. He asked me, “ Is this going to bother you to work on an amputee?”. I replied without hesitation “Absolutely not”.

Landing the position at KR was a huge gift from above. Everyone is so professional and fun to work with. They treat you like family and want you to succeed. I am doing the dance of happiness for all that is presented to me.

Life is good – enjoy. I am grateful to all who allow me into their personal space, Thank you.

“I had the most relaxing massage at Kneaded Relief. Pam was my therapist. She had the best neck massage leaving me feeling relaxed and peaceful. I am going back for more soon!”

Erica Sain
WI Licensed Nail Technician, WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

My path to Kneaded Relief is not one intended to be on, but it is one that I am glad I followed.

Allow me to share with you a little about myself. I am an only child and a capital city girl. I was born in Springfield, IL, and then lived in Minneapolis for a short stint. For the past twenty-some years of my life I have resided in the town I’ve grown to love and consider my home- Madison.

I am also the proud single mother of a beautiful baby girl, Jade Willow. She is my world and much of my motivation in life today. I enjoy camping, laughing with friends and live music.

I received my massage therapist training at Lakeside and gained my manicurist license at Martin’s School of Cosmetology. I always knew the career I chose would entail bringing joy to other’s lives and putting smiles on their faces. These careers are a perfect fit for those aspirations. And now I am a part of the Kneaded Relief family who has welcomed me with open arms. I couldn’t dream of better people to work with.

I look forward to seeing your face and providing you with relaxing services in this beautiful facility.

“Erica S. was fantastic! She was committed to ensuring that pressure, temperature, etc. was ok for me. It was so great that I booked another massage next month!”
