WI Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic, Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

Hi! My name is Mary. I am a Wisconsin Registered and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. I have been practicing massage therapy since 1998 and I am a professional member of the International Massage Association. I have over 650 hours of training, including the following modalities: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Therapy, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular therapy, Reflexology, Sinus Massage, Aromatherapy, and Body Mobilization. I have also completed continuing education in Muscle Release Techniques for the treatment of chronic pain and repetitive use injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Most recently, I have completed continuing education in LaStone Therapy.

I incorporate into each massage part of all these modalities, tailoring each massage to suit the individual needs of the client. I listen to what each client is telling me about his or her own physical symptoms and apply this to how I will effectively treat each person. Whether their needs are relaxation for stress relief or treatment of acute or chronic pain, educating clients on the benefits of plenty of water and teaching the importance of stretching are all keys to helping each client achieve their desired result. Take advantage of a massage therapist who will give you her undivided attention. You’ll be glad you did!

Mary is FANTASTIC! Always love my massages!”

Hello! My name is Angie, and I’m so grateful to be part of the wellness team here at Kneaded Relief! My passion for massage began with a love for activity. In my household, we’re silent sports enthusiasts (cycling, paddling, x-country skiing, etc.). I’ve learned that performance is based on three things: training, fuel and recovery. Regular massage helps the body heal itself more efficiently by helping to maintain balance.

I graduated from Blue Sky School of Therapeutic Massage and Body work with an emphasis in medical/therapeutic work. I’m currently working towards certification in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy as well as Craniosacral Therapy. However, more than any one modality, what I am most passionate about is helping my clients feel better. No two massages are the same, and I work to tailor my treatment plan to each client’s needs.

I love giving massage as much as receiving it. Whether the goal is stress relief, therapeutic or general relaxation, I am going to do my best to help you feel better.

Excellent massage from Angie, as always! She is thorough, perceptive, and professional. I always look forward to coming in to Kneaded Relief, and specifically, having a massage from Angie.”

Hello there! I hope I get the opportunity to work with you.

I have been practicing massage since 2011. I began my college path with Graphic Design and realized that it wasn’t what I wanted to do in life. A friend suggested I go for Massage Therapy, but this career path had never even crossed my mind before. So I looked into the program liked what I saw, and enrolled at Globe University in La Crosse WI. After starting classes, I really enjoyed doing massage and I knew I had made an excellent choice.

Since graduating massage school I decided to keep going to college. I have always had a strong passion for art and after hearing about the amazing Art Therapy Program at Edgewood College, I packed my things and moved to Madison. I’m currently working towards my Masters in Art Therapy and minoring in Psychology and Studio Art. After completing my degree, I plan to work with Military men and women coming back from overseas who suffer from psychological disorders from combat exposure. I will be able to help them with the use of art, to help them express themselves through art rather than verbally expressing their experiences. I also plan to keep doing massage and bettering my skills.

In addition to everything I do, what brings me great joy is painting and drawing. In my spare time I do a lot of my own personal art work. I also like to go biking, hiking, shoot archery, snow shoe and read.

Tremendous prenatal massage and spa experience. Erica Jean is very skilled and I would highly recommend!”

Hello and welcome! My name is Tori and I’m so excited to be back and part of the Kneaded Relief team.  My wellness journey has taken me down many paths over the years.  Starting out in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I was honored to work alongside and learn from many knowledgeable healers such as yogis, acupuncturist, chiropractor and nutritionists.  While in Portland OR, I enjoyed hiking the many trails, camping on the mountain and exploring all the treasures of the ocean.  After a few years back home I decided to pack the Volvo wagon up and head back to Madison WI to enjoy lake life, fireflies and all the good times that come with Midwest living.

One thing I love about being a therapist is that every human body is beautiful and unique, and yet universally the same.  Through touch we can become more in-tune with our self and our environment.  So much of the time we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives that we forget to stop and enjoy the simplicity of it all.  I find massage a time to quiet the mind, calm the nerves, let go of our daily tension, and simply breathe and be one with ourselves. I like to listen to the body and let it tell me where to go.  I utilize both intuition and simple technique, which flow together to create a harmony within, and help the body and mind communicate and find balance.  Through a mixture of basic and comfortable technique such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release and breath work, I try to create a smooth, steady and lasting experience for every client.

I’ve been doing massage full-time going on ten years now and love that it continues to be a new experience with every client that walks through my door.  I find there is something to learn from every individual, and human connection is the first step to communication.  I’m honored to take part in your journey of a healthier and more balanced life style.

I so very much enjoyed my massage and time with her.  Honestly it is the best massage I can remember having.”

Firm, steady and continuous.  She recognized where I was needing extra work and focused on those areas.”

Hi, my name is Colleen. My journey with wellness began with my career as a Certified Medical Assistant and Board Certified Phlebotomist for a combined total of eighteen years.  While the work I did was important, I wasn’t feeling completely fulfilled.

In 2011, I decided on a career change and I trained to become a Reiki Master Practitioner.  Practicing Reiki along with my personal experience receiving massage inspired me to become a Massage Therapist.  I graduated from TIBIA Massage School in 2012.  I have been practicing massage in Fitchburg for the past four years primarily doing relaxing Swedish massage.  I’ve completed 100 hours in my Myofascial release over the last two years.

While traveling to a Myofascial seminar in Virginia Beach, I discovered a great love for the ocean.  It was wonderful collecting seashells while walking on the beach with the waves lapping over my feet.  It is a joy that I was able to share with my husband last year at Myrtle Beach.

My experience with massage has brought my awareness to focus on relaxation, treating the areas of your body that need attention while following tension patterns throughout your body with the intention of bringing your mind and body back into balance.  When we are in balance then our spirits can soar!

I am delighted to join the talented team at Kneaded Relief and look forward to expanding my skills further.

She is the best massage therapist that I have ever had. She is a treasure.”

Hi my name is Vicki and I am a massage therapist here at Kneaded Relief.

My journey into massage began when I injured my back and was told I needed surgery.  At that time, I had four young children and was recently divorced.  I didn’t have time for back surgery.  My friend recommended I see a massage therapist. The therapist helped significantly, taking the time to explain how she would help me and I was able to avoid surgery.  This experience inspired me to enroll at Globe University for the Massage Therapy Program in Middleton.  I wanted to help people like my therapist helped me.  Once I began school, I realized that this was what I was meant to do.  I love helping people feel better and changing peoples’ lives in a positive way.  Returning to school was difficult as a single mom with four children. Some days I didn’t think I would make it.  But the example I set for my children has taught them about hard work and following your passion and that you are never too old to learn.

Since graduating in 2014, I have worked as a therapist in other locations around Madison.  I bring compassion, knowledge, and experience to every massage and truly care about the people I work on daily.  At Kneaded Relief, I feel like I can take the time necessary with each client to educate them and/or answer any question they have.  Kneaded Relief truly cares about your well-being and I’m excited to be a part of this wonderful team.

I keep busy following my kids’ sports and school events, so I don’t have much spare time.  When I do, I enjoy golfing, watching my favorite sports teams and snowboarding.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel your absolute best!

Firm and intentional. I could tell she was highly trained and knew how to work through my tights spots.  You can tell she really enjoys her work and helping others feel their best.”

Hi all! My name is Alexandra and I have recently joined the Kneaded Relief team and am so excited to embrace this experience with each and every one of you. I found my passion through massage when I joined gymnastics at my high school. My teammates would sometimes ask me for massages after practice or right before a meet and I didn’t mind giving them out! It made me feel good as a teammate to help them relieve stress before a meet or relieve muscle soreness from practice. The reason why I gave massage school a chance was because my teammates encouraged me to pursue it and believed I could create it into a career for myself.

Since taking up the opportunity to attend Madison College Therapeutic Massage Program, I found my drive of passion. Although I am new on my journey I am so eager to learn and have so much to give to my clients. I don’t feel time necessarily says you are better but your determination and your willingness to grow does. I feel I have the potential to improve the lives of others because through school I’ve learned many people are consistently stressed from their careers and everyday life. As a massage therapist, that’s where I come in and I allow my clients to let go and create a space they want that society pushes them away from feeling.

I can’t wait to get my hands on everyone and to make them feel I have made a difference. I think the biggest difference for me is to have a client who comes in and leaves appreciating my work and feel that I care. I also want to educate my clients on why I do certain techniques and target certain muscles so they can understand what they need to do for their next session to get better in their therapeutic journey.

Just so you know a little about myself, I am someone who loves to do anything involving nature and traveling! I am big on hiking and biking. Pretty much anything that will get my blood flowing and feeling good. Traveling makes me feel alive. I am very open to new experiences and traveling does that for me. It also puts you into perspective on what else is out there and it only makes me appreciate the world more.
