Our Spa’s COVID-19 Policies
We ask this to keep our team and guests safe. We are taking the pandemic very seriously and the safety of our team and guests is our number one priority. We want to remain open, we are a locally owned small business so please support and respect our wishes.
We will no longer require our staff to wear a mask if they have not had recent exposures or positive tests. However, if you would like your therapist to wear a mask, please let us know and we would be happy to accommodate.
Guest Protocols –what you can expect starting February 1st, 2024:
If you were exposed to COVID, you DO NOT need to cancel your appointment unless you develop symptoms, HOWEVER, you must wear a high quality mask to your appointment. This means that if you are scheduled for a facial or hydrotherapy appointment, you will have to reschedule your service, but could still come masked for a massage, nail appointment, personal training, or body treatment as long as you remain masked for your entire visit to the spa.
If you have SYMPTOMS of COVID or have tested positive, you will need to cancel any appointments made with Kneaded Relief until you have been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and have had 2 sequential negative tests 48 hours apart.
Symptoms of COVID may include:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
In the event that one of our therapists tests positive for COVID, Kneaded Relief will contact their guests from the previous 5 days.
Please review the following policies prior to your visit to the spa:
If you have an active cough, fever, cold or flu (respiratory or stomach) like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment.
Your therapist may discontinue your appointment if any of the above are present during your visit and you will be charged accordingly.
Kneaded Relief staff are not required to wear a mask; however, if you prefer that your therapist wear a mask, please let us know.
Since our nail suite can be occupied by several therapists and guests at a time, you can request to reserve a time when only you and your therapist will be present. Please know that those times may be limited.
Our Wellness Classroom will continue to be available as a secondary waiting space when not otherwise reserved.
Service & amenities limitations:
Kneaded Relief will NOT perform the following services until further notice:
No sinus massages
Prepayment for your services is preferred. We have a couple contactless options for you as well: you can pay for your visit via the credit card we have on file or we can send you a “self-pay” link via email or text for you to pay via your phone or computer.
Kneaded Relief will not provide the following until further notice or have made changes to the following:
Massages will only be offered up to 90 minutes
Only guests receiving services are allowed in the Spa (other than those coming into our reception area to purchase retail or gift cards)
No water cups provided after services in the treatment room; water will be available in the Relaxation Retreat and Wellness Classroom with reusable cups
No blankets or pillows available in Relaxation Retreat or Wellness Classroom.
If you take a shower in our locker room, please close the curtain to the changing area and let Guest Services know.
We will have a medical-grade covering over our fleece table warmers & face cradles that will be sanitized between guests.
Spa Cancellation Policy:
Kneaded Relief Day Spa & Wellness has updated our Spa Cancellation Policy to require a card to be held on file (through a secure third party). Per our website and service menu, we prefer a 48 hour notice for any cancellations/changes to reservations and that we charge 50% of the service cost for late cancellations & 100% for No Shows. When we place a card on file for the first time, we will charge a 25% deposit to ensure the card is active and accepts charges–with the understanding if the transaction is declined, the reservation will be canceled. The 25% reservation deposit will be used toward the cost of the service when the service(s) are rendered. A deposit will be required every year when the Cancellation Agreement is renewed. For guests with gift cards or packages, we will honor that as the deposit for the service reservation. After a reservation has been made, a form titled “Cancellation Policy Agreement” will be sent to the email and mobile phone number on file. This outlines the full policy and will require a signature for understanding & consent. If you would like to request a copy of this document for your records, please email info@krspa.com.
The “Cancellation Policy Agreement” will be accompanied by our “Health & Wellness Intake Form” and a form specific to the service(s) reserved. These are electronic versions of the forms we previously required all guests to complete prior to their service(s). The forms will be sent in a series of emails and texts. The emails may look like duplicates but please click on each link as they are different forms. All information provided via the electronic forms is confidential and secured to your client profile once completed. Not only will this allow the exchange of pens, paper, and clipboards to cease while increasing the safety for our employees and guests, it will also help us reduce any unnecessary paper usage. Feel free to email info@krspa.com with any questions, concerns, or otherwise.
We appreciate your compassion and understanding during this unprecedented time.
By receiving a service at Kneaded Relief, I agree to the following:
I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and the health hazards it presents, and voluntarily assume any risk of exposure.

This Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by Wisconsin law, and if any portion is held invalid, I agree the balance will continue in full legal force and effect.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about any of our protocols. We look forward to seeing you soon!
