Melissa
Esthetics Department Manager, WI Licensed Esthetician

Hello and welcome to Kneaded Relief. I am Melissa and I am an Esthetician. I am also fortunate to be the Esthetics Department Manager of a great team of Estheticians.

I grew up in Green Bay, WI and graduated from Martins Collage of Cosmetology and earned a license in esthetics. As a teenager, I struggled with problematic skin and I enjoyed studying the skin and ways I could improve it. My parents took me to Martins to meet with them and to learn more about esthetics. I fell in love with it right away.

I started my journey at Kneaded Relief in September of 2000. Throughout my career, I have been so blessed to take care of each and every guest I see. I truly love my career and the team I work with.

I hope to educate you about your skin and skin care needs and also to help you rest from life’s everyday stress. You deserve time for yourself and I thank you for choosing Kneaded Relief for your wellness care.

Nicole
Assistant Spa Manager

Hello! My name is Nicole and my path here to Kneaded Relief started back in 2007. I grew up in Dodgeville WI and graduated High School in 1999. I took a year off before I went to Edgewood College in Madison. After graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art, I was still deciding what I wanted to do and found a job working at a Daycare down by the zoo. It was really fun and I was able to be creative with the kids and plan fun art projects for them to create. However, after working there for a few years I knew there was something else out there for me. I was on a mission to find a new career path and saw Kneaded Relief’s ad on Craigslist. I turned in my resume and application and a short while later I was in for an interview. I was given the opportunity to join the KR team in a Guest Service position. After a few weeks of training and getting to know my fellow coworkers, I felt like I made the right decision in coming to Kneaded Relief.

I enjoy my position at the front desk and getting to know all of our guests that come through the door. It is really rewarding to see so many faces that I not only remember but that they remember me too! I love being able to catch up with guests about things going on in their personal lives as well as meeting new faces. I have worked my way up from Guest Service to Spa Coordinator and recently, I was given the opportunity to become the Assistant Spa Manager. What I enjoy most about working at Kneaded Relief is all of our guests and my coworkers. We definitely have a small family here and it’s a wonderful feeling to have a close knit relationship.

By the way, you might hear my teammates call me "Gloria". It's a nickname I made up a long time ago when I was getting confused with the owner Nichol and it stuck!

Nail Department Manager, Licensed Nail Technician

Hello! My name is Jordy and I have been doing nails for as long as I can remember! I grew up practicing on my mom, sister, grandma, and even my dad! Thanks to my family’s support, I pursued a career in Cosmetology and have been honing in on my craft ever since.

I grew up in Wisconsin Dells, and a few years out of high school I attended Panache Academy of Beauty, and graduated in 2019.I enjoy all forms of being creative and love painting, drawing, baking, and even making clothes. I love helping my clients feel their absolute best and express themselves through designs and many colors that they can choose from.

Growing up in a small town, I have gained an appreciation for the hospitality and kindness that shines through in the community, and I hope I can create that same environment for each and every one of my clients. I am so excited to continue pursuing my passions at Kneaded Relief and am so glad to be a part of such a genuine group of professionals!

Tori
Massage Department Manager, WI Licensed Massage Therapist

Hello and welcome! My name is Tori and I’m so excited to be back and part of the Kneaded Relief team.  My wellness journey has taken me down many paths over the years.  Starting out in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I was honored to work alongside and learn from many knowledgeable healers such as yogis, acupuncturist, chiropractor and nutritionists.  While in Portland OR, I enjoyed hiking the many trails, camping on the mountain and exploring all the treasures of the ocean.  After a few years back home I decided to pack the Volvo wagon up and head back to Madison WI to enjoy lake life, fireflies and all the good times that come with Midwest living.

One thing I love about being a therapist is that every human body is beautiful and unique, and yet universally the same.  Through touch we can become more in-tune with our self and our environment.  So much of the time we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives that we forget to stop and enjoy the simplicity of it all.  I find massage a time to quiet the mind, calm the nerves, let go of our daily tension, and simply breathe and be one with ourselves.

I like to listen to the body and let it tell me where to go.  I utilize both intuition and simple technique, which flow together to create a harmony within, and help the body and mind communicate and find balance.  Through a mixture of basic and comfortable technique such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release and breath work, I try to create a smooth, steady and lasting experience for every client.

I’ve been doing massage full-time going on ten years now and love that it continues to be a new experience with every client that walks through my door.  I find there is something to learn from every individual, and human connection is the first step to communication.  I’m honored to take part in your journey of a healthier and more balanced life style.

Marketing Director

Hi everyone, my name is Statia (pronounced like Tasha with an S in front) and I’ve been with Kneaded Relief since 2017.

I grew up in Oregon and have lived in the Madison Area for most of my life. At the age of 26, I decided to go back to school to get a degree and was interested in Massage Therapy. I applied to Kneaded Relief as a guest service representative to get industry experience while I was in school, but very quickly realized massage was not for me. I pivoted and decided to pursue my lifelong dream of being a buyer, so I got a marketing degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. While in school, I was lucky enough to take over as the Retail Manager at Kneaded Relief and got real-world experience in the career path I had chosen. After graduating I accepted the position of Retail and Marketing Director with Kneaded Relief and I’m excited to start my career here with the Kneaded Relief family.

I have enjoyed getting to know all of our guests and regulars throughout the years and being able to warmly greet clients by name with a smile. I look forward to serving our guests through our excellent retail area and bringing in products that are effective, therapeutic, and high quality that our clients expect from Kneaded Relief, as well as come up with exciting new promotions and offers for our guests!
